This has been my "top secret" bread dip for so many years! I am always asked to make it for parties and holidays. I am always being asked for the recipe and I quote the 1970's laundry commercial by saying "Ancient Chinese Secret". Even non-spinach lovers will enjoy the Knorr recipe found on the box - be sure to use the Knorr Vegie soup mix and don't hesitate to add the scallion and water chestnut (chop in a processor to hide your ingredients

I made this simple spinach bread dip recipe for a bridal shower and everyone loved it! It's easier than the recipe on the back of the Knorr package, and I like the fact that this recipe doesn't call for mayonnaise (who needs sour cream AND mayonnaise in one dish? I've since made it for a bunch of barbeques and a super bowl party. It's inexpensive to make for a large crowd and there are never any leftovers. Great recipe! So easy to make and so flavorful!

This dip is a family favorite and so easy to make. I made it for Christmas Eve and had to refill it constantly!
