This has been my "top secret" bread dip for so many years! I am always asked to make it for parties and holidays. I am always... being asked for the recipe and I quote the 1970's laundry commercial by saying "Ancient Chinese Secret". Even non-spinach lovers will enjoy the Knorr recipe found on the box - be sure to use the Knorr Vegie soup mix and don't hesitate to add the scallion and water chestnut (chop in a processor to hide your ingredients)Read more

    Hit of the party!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I made this simple spinach bread dip recipe for a bridal shower and everyone loved it! It's easier than the recipe on the... back of the Knorr package, and I like the fact that this recipe doesn't call for mayonnaise (who needs sour cream AND mayonnaise in one dish?) I've since made it for a bunch of barbeques and a super bowl party. It's inexpensive to make for a large crowd and there are never any leftovers. Great recipe! So easy to make and so flavorful!Read more

Everyone loves this dip and it's so easy to make ! You can also be creative and add other ingredients to the sour cream, ... such as: chopped green onions and garlic, water chestnuts, dry ranch dressing mix, etc. CathyRead more

    I was skeptical at first....

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This recipe seemed too easy to be worth 5 stars and I don't always trust soup mixes. I had two dips at my party and this was... almost gone and the other hadn't been touched. I served it in a pumpernickel bread bowl. So yummy!Read more
