..I make a lot of smoothies..so I have a recipe similar, tried this one. It was ' OK".., so I tweaked it by adding 1 tsp vanilla, using almond milk ( you could even use GOOD filtered water, if necessary , and plain Greek Yogurt., ONLY 2 TBSP..to which I added a scoop of Organic Protein Powder ( vanilla and it turned out much better. Honey is fine if you wish to add it, I didnt feel it necessary to do so. But a basic recipe that is not bad but can be made better. I feel its too much yogurt in this recipe given that it overpowers the rest of the ingredients.

Elmo knows how to make a tasty smoothie! I used vanilla greek yogurt in place of strawberry, almond milk, only 1 T of honey and added a scoop of vanilla whey and and a large handful of spinach. You can't taste the spinach and it's a few more nutrients.

Fabulous..........we call it our Elmo smoothie. My kids couldn't get enough of it.......including Mommy. I used vanilla yogurt because that's what I had in my fridge and it still turned out great.
