This was excellent! I had never had stuffed mushroom and my boyfriend wasn't the biggest fan of them but I had the ingredients in so decided to try these. I thought they were great and my boyfriend loved them (he ate 5!.

My only problem with this recipe is that I had to add excess liquid. It says add 1 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs but still keep it moiste. I added just 1 cup of breadcrumbs and ended up adding more oil and even a splash of water so they weren't too dry (but didn't want them mushy either! It did the trick and they came out great.

    enjoy!

I was looking for a recipe that didn't include cheese and this one is fabulous. The only thing I changed when using the recipe is to use slightly less of the bread crumbs.

instead of bread crumbs, use crushed up potato chips (plain or sour cream and onion. much better then plain breadcrumbs. use a little less oil as some will come out of the chips. enjoy!

I chose this recipe becaus it looked easy. I am so glad I did. I made them for my inlaws and for Easter and everyone loved them. I did substitute, instead of plain breadcrumbs I used Italian bread crumbs and I always will. Everyone loved them and they were all gone.

This recipe is absolutely delicious!!!...even if you make it without the garlic and bacon! Amazingly moist and flavorful. Highly recommend.

i don't really like mushrooms, but this was good. make sure you don't add too much bread crumbs otherwise you will make it dry and chop the bacon into small little bits. the bacon gives moisture to the mushrooms. Eat while hot.

I served this dish at our housewarming party and it was the first item to go.

I made some with bacon and then some without the bacon for my veggie friends and both were a hit.
