Very fresh tasting, totally enjoyed it. I omitted salt and pepper and oil, but loved it.

Sunny's No Ho Hum Holiday show has given us an entirely new family tradition: her Butterflied Cornish Game Henswith Sage Butter as an entree, this salad as a fetured side and Mini Espresso Cakes with Peanut Butter Icing for dessert. Everyone has their own "birds" and their own individual cakes - they love it! I tried it one year and now it is a MUST.
This salad is sweet, tart, crisp and delicious. It is similar to a Waldorf Salad, but the pears add a nice change. It is colorful and festive. It also refrigerates well.

I made this for a friend’s Sukkot party to rave reviews and will be serving it for our Thanksgiving feast as well. The only change I make is to substitute dried cranberries for the raisins.
It’s a great, fresh, light harvest salad... Delicious!

Really good! I made this for a pot luck lunch at work - my category was fruit - and it just disappeared! I did not use pears - not available at the store - and used more raisins and walnuts. It was very easy and quick to make - took about 20 minutes including washing up.

This salad is fantastic! I usually use craisins, bc I always have them on hand. I have made this for lots of people and everyone always wants the recipe! So fresh, love it!!! I do agree that this makes LOTS of salad, I usually 1/2 it for my family of 4.

Very tasty. Listen to the advice of others & be sure not to leave out the salt & pepper. Be aware this makes a huge amount of salad so cut the recipe in half if you're cooking for 3 or less.

The dressing had far too much vinegar for my taste; adding 2 tsp. of honey helped. Be sure to use the S & P. The leftovers stayed nicely in the fridge without turning brown. My fussy SO even ate it but I doubt I will make it again.

I love, love, love this salad. I will definitely make it again and again and again...
I added some pomegranate seeds and WOW did it make this salad pop. I just can't seem to get enough of it.

The dressing really makes this a 5 star rating. This salad is light and refreshing.
