My family loved this recipe. Very easy to make and the fish was cooked perfectly. Salmon was not usually my 1st choice for fish but we'll be having it a lot more often now that we have this delicious and simple recipe.

My kids and I gobbled this up! The salmon was so delicious. I've just recently tried to incorporate more fish in our diet---this recipe will be a staple of ours!

I love this recipe! The first time I made it as published, but yesterday I had to improvise. I went to two grocery stores to look for blackberries, and either they were sold out or they looked terrible(old. Because I had all the other items in the recipe I decided to pick up a 10oz jar of Smuckers Blackberry seedless preserves to substitute. I thought that I would try the sauce before putting on the salmon, and if I didn't like it I would just do some standard garlic and dill. I did not add the sugar because I thought that the preserves were sweet enough as it is. I did add everything else, I left the ginger in until the sauce had reduced fully. The fact that it started out as seedless preserves, I got to skip the straining part and just simmered until it reduced. It turned out great! If you ever get into a pinch, or the price of blackberries is through the roof, this is a great substitute.

OMG!!! I made this for dinner this evening and all I can say is WOW -- the sauce really brought a whole new level to salmon. Thank you so much. I suggest that anyone making this recipe make extra sauce, and put what you are using for the salmon in a separate container so you don't 'contaminate' the container you will want to use for ice cream toppings, or as a shmear on toast or panckaes or waffles or .... LOL ..... LAWD HELP ME it was YUMMM!

I made the recipe exactly as did Sunny. I really looked forward to it - especially after tasting the finished Blackberry Sauce. Don't know what happened to mine but could not give it 5 stars. No one in the family could taste the ginger and the Blackberry taste was very faint. Did 2 glazings and another before it went under the broiler. The salmon was good but with no flavor from this recipe.

This was super easy and super yummy - I did bake mine a little longer then the recipe calls for (approximately 10-12 mins and then broiled them still. Next time, I will broil them longer to see if I can get the glaze to be a little crispy. I had a LOT of leftover glaze, which I used as a dipping sauce on the side. Definitely will be making this again and again - and will try the glaze on ice cream as well!

We had this for Valentines day with the wild style grains n'thangs. It was wonderful. We didn't have blackberries so we used raspberries and a little blackberry jelly instead of the sugar. Next time we will make 1/2 of the sauce or take 1/2 out to put on the fish. We had plenty of the sauce left over.
