We live in the great northwest and my husband says he eats so much slamon he is going to start swimming upstream. However, he fell in love with this recipe and says I can make it anytime. I had to use blueberries as we had no blackberries on hand but it was still fab. It was so moist with a slightly sweet taste. To cut down on the calories I also used Splenda instead of sugar. Thanks Sunny, a real winner

I made this baked salmon for dinner tonight with fresh blackberries from our back yard and served it along with roasted asparagus. Yummy!!
Because we're trying to cut back on sugar, I used a Splenda sugar mix instead of only sugar and it worked perfectly. I will make this again for sure! Thanks for the recipe Sunny.

I enjoyed the salmon. I will do it again. It was easy and enjoyable. The first time I didnot follow the step, just tried it from memory so the sauce was a little watery but once I took away alot of to the water, it was perfect.
Thank you for keeping food intersting

If you are not a fan of the skin of salmon, then foil your pan and do not oil it. Only olive oil the top of the fish. The skin will stick to the foil and you will be able to gently lift the salmon fillet of the skin with a spatula. Blackberry's out of season? Use blackberry preserves warmed in the microwave with the other ingredients.
I cooked my salmon at 450 for 10 min, brushed on the glaze and then back into oven on broil for 4 min. My family loved it.

It was fairly easy to make. Kind of expensive with the fresh berries. I thought about trying blackbery jam instead. Pretty much th same thing. I dont think I will make this again. There really was no "wow" factor.

This is a great easy way to perpare a seafood dish that everyone will like. the Glaze is heavenly and I changed it a little bit with Blood orange infused olive oil and that is great.
