This was off the hook! Substituted beer for red wine and used a little five spice powder just to add a little more depth and it came out ridiculous. This recipe is definitely becoming a regular in my household.

I've made this twice now to rave reviews! I even doubled the recipe and it worked fantastic! One coworker said that if she didn't know there was squash in it, she wouldn't have known it was there - she hates squash but liked the chili. Thanks for a winning recipe.

This chili is delicious. Whole Foods had Delicata squash and no butternut squash, so I substituted and it was great. My neighbors came over for dinner and loved it!

Sunny, Thank You for this recipe!!! OMG! I juat finished making it and I was going to save it for later, but I can't stop eating it. It's absolutely delicious and it's easy and fun to make! It has my house smelling like a beautiful Fall day!! The cinnamon from the Pumpkin Pie Spice is wonderful in this. That plus the cumin, oregano, and chili powder are a perfect marriage! I will make this again and again. I like beans and meat in mine so I wound up adding a can of Northerns because I thought they would not be as strong as kidney beans. It worked out perfectly! Thank you again!

The ingredients were so interesting I had to try it. And I did like it. The squash kind of dissolves in your mouth, so if you aren't a big squash fan (and I really am you won't really notice the chunks once you take a bite. I added extra broth, black beans and tomatoes because I can't help not added those things to my soup most of the time. Great fall recipe!

Saw the show and had to make this. And so glad I did.....it is so yummy!!! Everyone enjoyed it. Only change....didn't use Chianti. Used another Italian red wine and it was great. This would be great for a potluck.

I, like others saw the show yesterday and had to make this. I used spicy sausage and ground beef so i didn't add any chili powder. That was my only tweak. Thanks so much!
