I would like to make this dish it looks Amazing. If someone could help answering 2 question..
Can I use coconut milk instead of cream, and take out the brandy?

I'm a guy who's always loved curry dishes, but I'd never prepared one because they seemed pretty daunting. This recipe looked easy...and it turned out to be as easy as it looked. The taste? Delicious! After reading some other reviews which stated the dsh was oily, I used two tbls. of oil instead of three. Also, I used raisins instead of grapes simply because I had raisins at hand. So good! The curry flavor was perfect. Thanks, Sunny.

This chicken has so much flavor! I was a little nervous about the grapes, but they definitely added some needed sweetness and another texture to the recipe, I used 1/2 heavy cream, and 1/2 half and half and it still turned out great!

Made this last night and everyone enjoyed the interesting combo of flavors. The grapes are an unexpected ingredient but we all liked them in the dish. I used 8 chicken thighs and cooked my egg noodles seperately since I didn't think it would all fit in my skillet. I also used half and half instead of cream. I feel I made a mistake there in trying to save a few calories and will use the cream next time.

After watching this show and just so happening to have chicken in the fridge I had nothing to do with, I decided to try this recipe. I omitted the grapes, and sub'd the brandy for white wine, AND sub'd the shallots for red onions (I only like to cook with what's in my pantry! and it was wonderful!!! I'm sure it was even better with the actual ingredients it called for, but it was still lovely :

I rarely review recipes mainly because I usually alter them to my liking and don't think its fair to review anything unless I follow the recipe. In this case I followed the recipe and wow it was incredible. I will be adding this to my regular make again box. I love the ease of it and the great flavor that comes out in this one dish meal. Thanks Sunny!

This is a great recipe that is easy enough to handle and makes you look like a master. I have cooked it twice for my husband and I can't wait to try it out next time we have friends over for dinner. I had never cooked with shallots before. The first time I made it I substituted them with regular onions, but it makes a big difference!

when this is plated, it does not look too appetizing. The flavor was wonderful. In the words of my 8 year old "tastes really good mommy but looks gross". I might make this again but maybe ease up on the curry a bit.
