There was nothing special about these wings. Perhaps those who enjoy the 'Caribbean' flare may think otherwise. They were'n't bad, but they weren't memorable either and definitely not worth 4 or 5 stars.

awsome recipe. I was not a chicken wing fan, but this recipe changed my mind. Had never made chicken wings before, but this was easy and good. Making another batch for super bowl sunday. Thanks Sunny

Great! Followed as in and guests loved them. Great alternative to ordinary buffalo wings.

Great recipe! I will definitely use the marinade again...it would be great on grilled chicken, pork, or shrimp. Only change I made was I grilled the wings and I added a little bit of bourbon to the reserved marinade when I brought it to a boil. Excellent!

The chicken tastes very good and I grilled my chicken instead of baking it, but this is not too much like Caribbean jerk. She says "jerk marinade" (with air quotes in the video, but nowhere in the recipe, and now I know why. I would also suggest cutting back the thyme to 1 teaspoon as my marinade had a heavy thyme taste, and it could have used more heat from another habanero, or a jalapeno or red pepper flakes for a little different flavor.

I have found faster recipes but none top the compliments I get with this dish. This is my secret weapon when I want to impress people with my cooking and my kids LOVE it. Thank you Sunny. This is our BEST chicken wings recipe and I LOVE that it is not fried..
Keep it up. You are amazing.

Even though I left the fennel seeds out because I didn't have it in my spice rack the chicken came out amazing! Succulent, sweet and spicy! Very delish!

This recipe is delicious! I didn't have a lot of the ingredients on hand but I REALLY wanted to make it, so I had to improvise. I put in the ingredients I had and subbed or left out the rest (reg. sugar not brown, fresh ginger not ground, red onion not green, jalepeno pepper not haberno and no fennel seeds or OJ. I also added olive oil...whizzed it all up and marinated the chicken in it. Believe it or not it was fanastic, even with all the changes! I will make again, following the directions to see how much better it will be - I can't imagine it can be much better than what I had.
