After the show aired on 04/05/09 I made the tacos that evening. My family loved the tacos! They said "Mom, add them as part of our regular dinner rotation". Coulple days later, the family was requesting the fish tacos again.

I'm a busy mom that works full-time and comes home late. This recipe is easy, fast to make and you don't have to buy any odd condiments that you'll never use again.

This recipe is highly recommended! Try it out! You will not regret it!

I tried the fish taco recipe after watching Sunny make it this morning. These are the first fish tacos that I have every tried. The beer batter is great. For and extra twist I used Bud Light Lime and added additional lime to the batter mix. My family, some that are very picky eaters, loved them. I really enjoyed the pickled onion and cucumber, but next time I'll use less sugar and more Habanero. Thank you Sunny!!!! I love your show!!!

I have made this recipe several times simply because it's soooo easy and tasty! The batter comes out suprisingly light and flavorful and the pickled cucumbers offer a great contrast - a great burst of flavor. Beware through, you will have PLENTY of pickled goodness leftover...just save it for the next time!

Used a Miller Light and it was excellent. did not make the pickle relish. Made a Po-Boy using the remaloude sauce from the Neelys catfish episode along with the beer battered fish recipe. It was a hit from the word go.... This was my first recipe from this show and I will make it again...

    TKS....

This is such a different take on fish tacos. I was initially unsure if I would like the pickled relish, but it is amazing on hot beer-batter fish. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This was fairly easy to make and tasted great, I made it for a dinner party. I did not make the pickled onion and cucumber though, I served it with mango salsa and chipotle mayo. Tasted great, would make again.

This was my first recipe by her and I was not disappointed. The fish and the pickled onion & cucumber was great. I paired it with her hard lemonade and it was the perfect summer meal. It made me feel like I was eating healthy even with the beer battered fish!

I only used the batter recipe, but the topping seems like it would be tasty. Any excuse to use beer, I'll try. The batter isn't too heavy (i used miller lite and has a nice afterburn that you could could boost with extra tsp(s of cayenne. I used it in a what-I-have-available meal with fresh bay scallops we pulled out of the Gulf of Mexico a day earlier. While probably not the best vehicle, I made a decent po-boy and some "poppers" out of them. Will definitely make the fish tacos. Highly recommended for those who can't/don't want to soak in milk or use eggs.
