I made this for Thanksgiving this past year and it was a hit! I could not stop eating it. It's also easy to make. Thank you Sunny!

This recipe was wonderful. My kids loved it as well as my husband. I've tried a couple of Sunny's receipes, and she's great. This one is going to be around in my house for a while!

Very good winter casserole! I served it with plain chicken breast and it made a perfect meal! I usually have to adjust most of the recipes that I try, but this one was spot on with the flavors and timing! Next time I will add some more broccoli so it's not as rich and the sauce can "spread out" onto more ingredients! Enjoy!

I had frozen veggies in the freezer and some leftover potatoes in the frig, mixed up the vegs and potato added pepper jack cheese instead to give it more of a kick. Great way to use leftovers and get your veggies. Thanks Sunny.

This recipe is awesome as written. The only thing I did differently was to blend the mushroom mixture with an immersion blender. It turned out perfect. Everyone raved about it at Thanksgiving. The kicker was I didn't have to tweak the recipe at all. The seasonings were right on. It is my new favorite broccoli mushroom casserole.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit. Not only were people scheming for leftovers but I've already had 3 requests to make it again. I recommend using really high quality rice (Zatarans or Uncle Bens that stands up to the other ingredients. I'll be making this recipe for yeas to come!! Thank you Sunny!!

I made this for Christmas Dinner and it is so easy. You can't screw it up and believe me I tried. I didn't read the recipe through before I started and had to keep stopping and starting but it turned out great. I used the baby bella mushrooms and the flavor was great. The cayenne pepper gave it a punch but the taste was tamed down with the leftovers the next day. Definetly going to make this many more times.

This casserole turned out very well but when I do it again I will make some changes.I will put in about half the cayenne (or leave it out and swap out the heavy cream for possibly half and half (as suggested above. Its nice to have a cream, but the heavy cream really stood out to me as I ate it. I will also add in more broccoli- felt it got a little lost in all the mushrooms and rice.

I think this was better the second day. I found the cayenne pepper to be a bit overpowering in the overall taste. One of those dishes that was bland except for the cayenne. Seems something was missing but still tasty. Too cheesy maybe?
