I think the dish is very savory and Delicious to the pallet . Goes well with a red wine.

Absolutely delicious!! HUGE hit with the family, and super fast and easy! However, next time, I may use half and half instead of the heavy cream, because while delicious, it can't be good for you...

Sunny-girl, you have outdone yourself! I couldn't find chicken sausage but used a savory one from the butcher, and I used a bit smaller pasta, but this recipe turned out sooo FABULOUS! Of course I questioned the vodka, but I think it helps assimilate the cream and tomato elements? Served to company to RAVE REVIEWS!, but girl, you get all the credit -- it's a keeper! Thank you!

Exceeded expectations!I bought precooked jalapeno chicken sausages and didn't know what to make them with. I came across this recipe and did not use the jalapeno(or raw chicken sausageit called for but instead quartered and chopped the jalapeno sausages because I figured that would be enough spice. I also added the vodka a couple minutes before the tomato and cream to allow it to cook out the alcohol. I did crush the tomatoes a bit with the spoon but did not want to puree to allow for texture.Next time I will use a 32oz can of tomato and add mushroom, broccoli, shredded carrot, peas and a bit more onion(we love veggies. For people that dont like spice, i think it would be just as good without the jalapeno!GREAT!

This was sooo good! Followed recipe exactly except I added the vodka along with the tomatoes (I broke the tomatoes up first in a separate bowl and simmered for about 20 minutes. I made this for me and my husband, but I can't wait to serve this to guests. Thank you Sunny!!!

This recipe was very good. I did alter it just a little. I used the sausage but also added 2 B/S chicken breast diced. instead of using a whole jalepino I used diced in a jar. Now the big change. The recipe is great the way it si but if you do not have vodka in your house try "Clsaaico Vodka Sauce". Still add the 1 cup of cream and subsitute vhicken broth for the water. Both various are great

I just finished watching Sonny make this dish, Probably a rerun. However, She seemed to have a problem with the sausage casings. Wouldn't it be easier and faster to slice the casing and roll the sausage out, than it is to squeeze it out of the casing? Also, aren't you supposed to add the vodka and allow the alcohol to cook out before adding the cream. I'm not a professional, but I thought that was common knowledge about adding alcohol to a recipe. Was a good recipe though I changed the order of things.
