I just tried this recipe today and the sauce had excellent flavor. It was a little thick, but I added more chicken stock and lime juice and that did the trick. I think I'll use the extra sauce with some noodles and veggies. No on the fish sauce.

Saw this episode and decided to try the chicken and peanut sauce. Decided the beets made the noodle dish unappealing to me so tried an Ellie Krieger recipe for lime peanut noodles. The chicken skewers with peanut sauce recipe was a disaster. Wish I could give less than one star. The amount of all spice that she uses as a little is way too overwhelming. The peanut sauce is too much peanut butter and very thick. Try another recipe! The other chef's recipe was awesome. I substituted rice vermicelli for the whole wheat pasta and it was awesome.

I don't see fish sauce mentioned anywhere except in the reviews. What are you people talking about?

Fish sauce was not listed in ingredients so I had to leave out. Made sauce not good. I used chicken thighs on skewers which turned out well. This sauce also thickened too quickly when removed from heat. I'll keep searching too.

After comparing to other recipes, I added 1 Tablespoon of the fish sauce.
Was very easy to make and I had all the ingredients in my pantry already. The sauce was good, but once taken off the heat, it thickened up pretty quickly and ceased to be sauce-like.
Over all, the recipe was OK, but I think I'll be trying other peanut sauce recipes, maybe one that uses coconut milk.

I want to make this, but the amount of fish sauce was not in the recipe. Can anyone help?

Overall, I would consider the recipe solid but not spectacular. And it makes plenty of peanut sauce.
