I decided to try this recipe after going to several Thai restaurants with my boyfriend and being disappointed with either the chicken or the sauce. I tweaked the recipe a bit since we like our food a little hotter than most. I added 1 tsp of garlic powder and 1/8 tsp of chili paste. I kept the remaining sauce and will be using it on noodles for a pad thai. No reason for a good sauce to go to waste. As for the chicken the allspice was right on. You can add a bit of tumeric if you're used to the yellow color of restaurant satay.
