This was the worst custard that I have ever tasted . My husband followed the recipe exactly as stated. The worst part was the hot bananas. The crust was so salty. My kids didn't even like it so I knew it had to go.

I followed this recipe to the very last detail and my custard curdled. I dont understand why. i tasted the banana, nut, choco, brown sugar mix before i cooked it and it was delicious.

This recipe was mushy and bland. Did not enjoy it at all.

I loved this! I didn't have any vanilla wafers, but I did have graham cracker crumbs. I used those to make my crust. Instead of peanuts I used walnuts. I thought it turned out great! It left me wanting more, but my husband wasn't willing to share his.

It wasn't a dessert I'm used to, but it was still wonderful and easy.

I made this for my husband for our Valentine's day dinner dessert. I also substitued the peanuts for walnuts. We both loved it! Custard is not something I would normally make for dessert but it was VERY easy. My husband described it as tasting almost like banana pudding. Looks like I will be making custard more often! (Agree that next time a little scoop of icecream would go with it nicely!

Took me 5 minutes to make and tasted great! I used walnuts and white sugar instead. The lemon test enhances the flavor, its not overpowering.
I didnt use a food processor for the crust, I just mashed up the vanilla wafers. The crust had crumbles, which added to the dish. I didn't use chocolate chips either, I had some shavings which I sprinkled on top, it gave a nice topping when it melted.
Will make again, with ice cream!
