My pie never reached a soft peak. The whipping cream and the chesse never reached a soft peak. I love cooking but had a hard time with them reaching a soft peak.

I think this would be great with toffee bits instead of chocolate chips especially with the butterscotch sauce!

This is super simple to make and OMG, absolutely wonderful to eat. If using a hand mixer, mix on medium speed for about 10 minutes or until firm, then fold in the chips. You WILL enjoy it!!!!

Watched Sunny make this on her show today and the ingredients are already on my shopping list! Looks super easy to make, but I will leave the butterscotch sauce out - not a fan of butterscotch at all. Will post again after I've make this dessert!

Was excellent and super easy. Read the recipe and it tells you how much cream goes into the butterscotch and how much goes into the pie mix portion. Also do you really need a picture of what whipped (white marscapone and whipped (white cream with chocolate chips scatterd throughout looks like? Unfair 1 rating that should be removed by food network.

have'nt tryed this yet, looks good but ony one thing no picture on site to show what it should look like and recipe calls for 1 and a 1/2 cups of whipping cream, but does'nt tell how much gos into butterscotch mix and how much gos into pie mix. I presume 1/2 cup gos into butterscotch topping and 1 cup gos into the pie mix?
