Yummy !!!!!! I am a pretty simple cook and I do a lot of grilling, but with cooler weather approaching I was in the mood for something hearty and comforting. This dish definately delivered. Flavors were awesome and it was easy to put together. My boyfriend and I were very impressed and I will definately be making this chowder again !

I loved this recipe. I recently had to remove glutens from my diet, so I exchanged the all-purpose flour with potato starch. Funny thing is, my husband is really picky about what he eats and I had to talk him into trying it. He then took some to work with him and shared it with coworkers, they all want the recipe. One man he works with couldn't believe that it hadn't come from a restuarant. He was amazed that it was homemade. Thanks for sharing this recipe and showing us all how easy it is on your show. This one is going in my favorites file.

This chowder was delicious. I watched this episode and ran out to get the ingredients right then. So glad I did. My husband and kids loved it. Next time I will double the recipe because the very little that was left over the next day tasted even better. Thanks Sunny =

I'm not a cook and afer looking at your show today I thought I'd give the chowder recipe a shot. I convinced my husband to run to the grocery store and purchase the ingredients. He came back with every thing except the thyme. I was either going to live up to my title of 'I'm not a cook' or surprise myself and my husband. Well, I'd like to announce even without the thyme it was a success. It taste delicious! My husband will vouch for me. Thanks for making me look like a cook today !

I just completed the Chunky Chicken Chowder. I have never cooked with Bay leaves; the leaves and the thyme gave an awesome hidden savory taste. I multiplied the recipe times 4 to feed a family of 6 and have plenty to share with family and friends. It was very easy. A true comfort and feel good food. Great job Sunny.
