Wow!! This was amazing, though I did flub it a bit. I had some fresh spinach to use up, so I used 2 big bags of fresh. It came out a tad runny, and I'm guessing that's why. Also, I forgot to buy the french fried onions. I imagine that would have taken this from awesome to heavenly!!! Lastly, I have a 3 and 5 year old, so I cut the pepper flakes to 1 tsp. This still gave it some bite, but tame enough for my little ones to still eat it. I might even take it to 1/2 tsp next time. Last, I was nervous about a full tsp of nutmeg. Don't skip, it's not overpowering at all. We will be making this often!!

Loved this dish. So easy. I also only used 1tsp. of chili flakes and it still had plenty of kick. It's rich, but I will be making this as often as possible.

This was delicious! Only thing I did was the reduce the chili flakes to 1 tsp and that was still too hot for my kids so will reduce further next time. Truly worth making this dish again and again...mmmm!

Sunny is a food goddess! I had an abundance of frozen Spinach and wanted something different. Boy did I find it. The fried onions on top gives this a great crunch. This is my go to recipe for spinach now!!

Had a ton of leftover spinach and decided to try something new. This was absolutely delicious! I improvised as I had no heavy cream. I also added some chopped cooked bacon to the mixture. I also didn't have the crispy onions so did as another suggested and used bread crumbs on top. Was perfect. I'll be making it again at Xmas! Thanks so much! I never would have thought to add nutmeg and chili flakes and it was so good!

I decided last minute to make this tonight for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Followed a previous review to make it ahead to just reheat tomorrow! Tastes Good! Put bread crumbs on top because I don't have the fried onions. Thanks for recipe...

I made this last year for Thanksgiving and everyone LOVED it and I've been asked to make it again this year! Even people in my family that don't like creamed spinach. I needed to cook this ahead and transport it last year. I followed the recipe the night before Turkey Day up to the point where you put it in the oven. I put it in a covered aluminum pan and put it in the fridge overnight. All that needed to be done the day of was reheating it for about 30 minutes on 350. So easy and SOOOOO yummy!
