I made this for my husband and myself. We spread the leftovers on a Boboli pizza crust and topped with sliced roma tomatoes, mushrooms and black olives. Finished it off with fresh grated mozzarela cheese and baked at 425. It was awesome! The heat of the creamed spinach was easier to take as a pizza topping. My husband did not think he was a fan of cooked spinach, but this he liked!

I forgot the onions and didn't have time to go back to the grocery store so I left them off, but even without them this is the BEST CREAMED SPINACH EVER! Creamed spinach is one of the favorite foods in this house. Every time we come across a new recipe or find it on the menu at a restaurant we give it a try, but this has to undoubtedly be the best creamed spinach we have ever had - homemade or restaurant made. I highly recommend this recipe to everyone - even those who are not big spinach fans.

Hey Sunny I enjoy your show. But I had a hard time finding you on the Foodnetwork.com. I had to google the cream spinach by you in order to get it. I did not see your picture with the other nework people. Why not? Tell them that your fams want to see you with the other cooks and shows. You are one of my favorites I can relate to the things and your experiences. You are very funny, relatbl, down to earth and cute. Keep up the good work
Love you

I made this recipe and forgot to add the sour cream and have to say that it was still delicious. I had some left over cheese so I placed it on top before sprinkling the onions on!!! It was so easy to make and my family loved it!

We loved this. Personally I will cut back on the red pepper flakes because of the heat. I used half and half instead of cream (I always do this due to high cholesterol. It still came out great. I think this would be a great dip too like another reviewer posted. If I were using it for dip I'd definitely use cream.

I made this today and instead of serving as a casserole, I made it a dip. I fried corn tortillas into chips and left off the fried onion topping. I used romano cheese and loved it! It got so many compliments. The best compliment of all is no leftovers! I love spinach dip and get it everywhere. This one is better than Cheesecake Factory and TGI Friday's for sure. I love the smell the nutmeg gives the dish and the tips on making the spinach quick and easy to prepare were priceless! Thanks for this one!

The creamed spinach from the Tam O"Shanter Restaurant in Los Angeles had been my favorite vegetable dish until I tried this one! It is the best I've ever tasted and I feel that the addition of the canned fried onions, red pepper flakes, and sour cream made the difference. I used emmenthaler cheese in place of the Parmesan called for since I didn't have the Parmesan on hand. Great recipe!
