Maybe intermediate! I served this at my bridge group luncheon and they absolutely loved it. I used brown rice and wild rice mixture and it was still wonderful. I'll make it again!

It had a good taste, but seemed more appropriate as a stuffing for chicken or turkey, not as a main dish

Definite a winner! Some slight deviations... no heavy cream so I used a milk/butter combo. Also went heavy on the cinnamon. It made it veryyyy good, but I am a cinnamon fan. Also added a little bit of flour to the sauce to thicken it (I think it may have needed it more since I didn't use the actual heavy cream. Also didn't put in mushrooms (family wouldn't use them. Overall, very pleased!

I thought this recipe was awesome! My family loved it! I had trouble with the rice the first time i made it. I used a brown/wild mix and it didn't get done. So, the next time I did it I cooked the rice according to the package directions and cooked the chicken separately and it worked out fine! Definitly not an every week dish but for once in awhile - great!

I made this dish and loved it. I turned the television right as she was describing the ingredients at the end, so I didn't see how Sunny made it. I some how messed up on the cranberries, so I just didn't include them, but it tasted sooo good. I also used portabello mushrooms instead of regular mushrooms. My husband and brother told me I have to make it again and make two large 9x13s. Loved it. Good job, Sunny!

Love this recipe! I only cover half the dish with the topping as my husband prefers without and I like it with it. Creamy and rich - a dish I can only handle the decadence of once in a while. I also cut back on the cinnamon a bit or it's just too much.

I made this dish the other night and my family just hated it. everything about the dish was nasty. it was bland and the topping was tooooo sweet. The brown sugar took over the entire dish. If I could change anything I would change everything. I wasted so many good ingredients. everytime i went into the kitchen and smelled it afterwards I would just say HORRIBLE.....

My family loves to try new foods, but this dish was really gross. The flavor was unexpected...in a bad way. It was like it was trying to be a dessert. Not exactly what we wanted as a main dish! My kids (older teens refused to eat it.

Loved it but did not want sweet on top. Substituted stove top stuffing with cranberries for topping and it was delicious

I've made this once before, but I used brown rice and left off the topping. My mom and husband both loved it. I making it again tonight.
