I didn't add the onion, but it still turned out great. My toddler boys loved it. If I made it again, I would probably use 1 3/4 c. heavy cream.

This ones a keeper! I made it exactly as the recipe said and it turned out great. I was worried about the onions and garlic but it gave it a different flavor that I actually loved. Thanks Sunny. Another recipe for my meatless days!

Very creamy the way I like it. I used cheddar cheese only but would like to use with colby also. Shredded cheese definitely melts better.

I just made this after seeing Sunny's show 2 hrs previous-yummy but forgot the parsley at end-darn-My hubby thought it was grainy, maybe because of the cheddar. But the flavor is wonderful.

This dish was simply delicious and so, so creamy. I used the shredded cheese from the bags (i like Sargento brand because it does melt easier as i add it to the cream very, very slowly as i see it melting. I added 1-2 more ounces of jack-colby. My kids absolutely loved it!!! I added some crumbled bacon on top......delicious! I love that this is stove-top recipe.....so quick! Thanks Sunny!!!

I totally love me some mac n cheese, and can't wait to make this one. Having it along with the fish for Sunday, instead of Friday. Yummy...

I've made this recipe twice, once w/ the onion and once w/o the onion. I have to say, USE THE ONION! It really adds another layer of flavor that is sooo good. It's relatively easy to make and worth the amount of work you put into it. Way better than the box!

i liked the flavor of the onions and garlic, but the dish turned out really gritty, and the cheese didn't melt into a very creamy sauce. next time use more cheese? i don't think i'll make this again.

This was ok, my family didn't like the onions. It was a little dry after setting. but the next time I will make some adjustments.
