I love food with a spicy kick, and this burger was incredible! I didn't even need to make the ketchup, because the burger on its own already had amazing flavor. Thanks Sunny!

Sunny hit this one out of the park. I had read the reveiws of this one before trying this one. I am a hardcore bachelor chef. Yes, I do a lot of box mix cooking due to speed and ease. But in the last few years I have opened up the experimentation side of my cooking. I didn't make the spicy ketchup with the burgers... and like almost everyone else I put a subtle spin on it to suit me and what I had in house at the time. I also used the regular 75/25 beef rather than ground pork. In place of the ketchup i used a horseradish sauce because I feel that always complements beef. Now, istead of conventional skillet cooking... i tossed this on my Foreman grill.... Yes, BACHELOR COOKING at it's finest ladies. Anyways... my fiance adores my attempts and the results were a moist tender seared burger without effort... if you got a dry burger out of this... you overcooked it or fell asleep and screwed up. Stick to McD's and Burger King drive thru window ordering.

Had purchased a pound of ground pork to put in a meatloaf mixture, but worked late and did not have time for that. So, I wondered what I could do with the pork in 20mins and found this recipe. Cut back the spices to match my ratio of meat (1 vs. 2.5lbs. We like curry powder so might add a bit more next time, but these were really flavorful and an impressive change of pace.

The key here is a medium-high heat pan, so the burgers get crisp, cooked through, but remain moist. Made the ketchup and it was very good, but as a choice also served tamarind chutney by Taaza. (wow. Skipped the bun and served with some coucous, green beans and store-bought naan (i know most people don't have this sitting around!. My boyfrined ate two burgers and was eyeing a third. (For those not as familiar with ground pork, make sure to use regular ground pork, not the Lean Generation brand, which is injected with water and will not crisp up.

My boyfriend loves anything curry, so when I saw this recipe for pork curry burgers, I thought that I would try them out alone first just in case. After the first bite I was hooked I will be surprising him by making this tasty burger it is totaly out of the box and the spicy kethup is great, I love the heat so I turned up the peppers a notch or two.. Thanks Sunny you Rock!!!

My girlfriend absolutely hates curry, with a passion. Thanks to this little number however she is willing to give the spice another shot. The ketchup definitely sets the taste off and we like it spicy so we added extra cayenne.

Since there is only two of us we under cooked some and had them as leftovers the next day. We thought they tasted even better after the spices got chance to permeate everything.

I don't eat pork, so I used ground turkey. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. Although a teaspoon of cayene pepper was a bit spicy for ME, it was delicious. I'm saying me because it may be just right for someone else. I will make this again!

Highly recommend this recipe, especially if you dig the flavor of curry. It's very well balanced, thought out, and bold in flavor. The spicy ketchup is cool (I like to add sriracha to it to boot, but the burger flavor is the star here.
Works well with ground turkey as well.

This packs a lot of flavor for not much money. I just got the ground pork for about $5.00. Add in a pack of kaiser rolls that were on sale, and this was an inexpensive meal. I like how the burgers had a crust on the outside from searing, but were moist and juicy on the inside. The spicy ketchup was more tangy than spicy, but was a welcome addition. I made some sweet potato fries in the oven to go with this, and it was a great meal!

I'm not a pork lover so I mixed the pork with turkey. I liked the burgers, although I put to much curry in it but that was my fault. I will definitely make this again.
