I've never made a turkey before, and this was the BEST!!! It had flavor and moist to it. I couldn't ask for a better Turkey. This turkey was a winner in my book, and will be making this every thanksgiving. It isn't hard to brine it for 3 days and it helps in unthaw. It was super easy and super Delicious. I added extra garlic in the cavity, cause I love garlic but any season that you like would be awesome in it. There is no dry turkey with this!!!!!!!!! OMG I am in love!!!!!!!!!

This recipe is fantastic!! I made this for Thanksgiving. Since there were only two of us I substituted cornish hens for turkey. This was the best. It had such a great flavor and was so juicy. My daughter practically devoured her hen. I will be following this recipe for all my roasted poultry. The brine is definitely the way to go. As another poster said before, "Thanks Sunny and Daddy!"

This is the #1 winner for Thanksgiving. Ten thumbs up (we had company for T-Day. DANG, Sunny and Daddy, you rock! So good, the video spelled it out perfectly, what to do, the herbs and aroma, the gravy (somebody says it was "beefy" so maybe they have beef broth or poor wine, my household unanimously raved. I will continue to record ALL of your shows!

I'm grew up in South Africa and was not comfortable cooking a turkey for my American friends. I have to say doing the brine thing is worth every bit of time and keeping the fridge occupied for 3 days. The flavor is so infused in the meat and the gravy top notch! 10 points!

This turkey was awesome, and really simple to do. So juicy and tasty. All 18 of our guest loved it. The gravy was not such a success, a little thick but we just added some water and it lighted the flavor up as well. The wine made it kinda beefy tasting.
Awesome turkey recipe!!

I haven't tried this yet, but isn't this recipe supposed to have sugar in it too?
