I will be trying this recipe for Thanksgiving. I normally cook turkey parts because of the dryness of the turkey breast, but from the looks of this turkey I must give it a try. It looked very juicy and appetizing. Way to go Sunny!

I tried this recipe last night for an early Thanksgiving dinner party and this was hands down the BEST turkey I've ever made! I was about to give up on brining altogether because of a bad experience 2 years ago, but this recipe produced a turkey that tasted as good as it looked. I will admit that I tend to like my turkey more flavorful than most, so I doubled up on the spices for a 19 lb-er. I also had the help of a convection oven set at 375 for about 3 1/2 hours. One more tip: I used butter and mashed garlic under the skin to ensure an even and crispy exterior. This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thanks Sunny for such a great recipe!
