We are not big fans of cumin but I tried this anyway because it was easy. I used boneless chops that were about 3/4" thick. Cooked them 7 mins on the first side and 4 on the second side. They were the most juicy pork chops I have ever made. Cumin was subtle and my whole family enjoyed them. Wow!

This was delicious! The sweet honey, tangy apple cider vinegar and red pepper flakes for some heat all combined just great! Pork chops were moist and tender! Made herbed steamed rice and used a bit of the juice from the meat to help season. Grilled zucchini lightly seasoned and a nice white wine made a great weeknight dinner for me and my husband. Might be a bit too hot for the kids to like, but you can alway add the red pepper to just a few of the pork chops and leave the others alone.

The chops were great! Good flavor and so easy. There are only two of us so I cut the marinade recipe in half and just used two good sized center cut pork chops. I marinated on the counter top for two hours. I'm pretty new at grilling and I was afraid they might dry out. Not to worry! I grilled on medium hot heat to get nice grill marks on both sides and lowered the heat to cook for a few more minutes. I grilled some fresh asparagus to go with the chops. I overheard my hubby bragging about them this morning...

I made these last evening for dinner and what a treat! I did them a BBQ grill and they were so moist and delicious. I, too, loved the marinade. Even with the honey, the chops had a slight zing to the flavor. I made a spinach and strawberry salad to serve with the chops. When my husband eats every morsal on his plate, I always know this new recipe is a winner.

I really liked the sweet note of the honey in the marinade, and the cumin made it complex. If I had the time (and remembered, I would marinade for a few hours longer next time. All the same, it was delicious.
