Loved it. The raisins make it so unique and tasty. I always have these rolls on hand and this is a great way to use them.

How you're supposed to get a slice of cheese into a half a crescent roll is beyond me. I ended up cutting the cheese into strips the same width as the pastry, which left me with a lot of leftover cheese. As I expected the cheese melted out of the roll and all over the baking pan. My husband liked them, but I didn't think they were anything special.

I thought this was good and unique. I brought it to a tailgate party and no one liked it. My sister even through away the remainder of hers. Even though I liked it, I will not make it again because it was not well received. Also, an 8 oz pillsbury cresent roll tube has 8 triangles, not 6 (that Sunny instructs to cut in half and I had way too much raisin/onion mixture- the proportions are wrong for this recipe.

Out of the thirty people who tried the Farm in a Blanket they only one said it was less than excellent. They reported that they like to keep their sweets and salts separate, but in the next breath asked if there where any more. Fun treat!

Wow - I can't believe how fast this went at this weekend's picnic. My only regret is that I didn't make more - as I wasn't fast enough to sample one. This recipe is easy and quick to prepare. 1/4 pound of sliced salami from the deli is what you need. I did have left over cresent rolls that I didn't need - may want to get a little extra salami and provolone next time.
