Delicious and easy. I can see this becoming a regular with my family. I think next time I may add some cheese.

Thanks, Sunny! I've been leery of making mashed potatoes from scratch, let alone the "garlic" kind you find in so many restaurants, these days. However, you showed me that it's so easy to make those yummy garlic potatoes (and yes, I like mine a little lumpy, also : THANKS!!!

My all time favorite mashed potato recipe! This recipe is soooo simple and turns out sooo delicious. I usually add more garlic than the recipe calls for and it's always yummy :

These potatoes are the best kept secret from recipe books. They are inventive, simple and pure bliss for your comfort food eating zone!! Not to mention, if you prepare these for your mother in law, she will just have to love you on principle alone. I make them every week as they have become my families favs.

My 4 year old daughter is my assistant in the kitchen so I try to find recipes that are easy for her to help with and this was it. I've made garlic mash potato before but added the garlic last (minced which had an over powering taste. Using your way had an even taste in each bite. Thank you this will be a recipe I will use always.

I used buttermilk instead of heavy cream and it produced a tangy, light version of mashed potatoes. The garlic flavor isn't very strong, so I will try roasting it then adding it wilt the butter and cream towards the end.
