For the salsa, I used 1 can of diced tomatoes, 2 chipotle peppers (from canned w/ adobo, 1 shallot, 2 garlic cloves, and the suggest cumin, salt pepper - turned out really great. I also fried the corn tortillas in oil and served on the bottom. Also - I used cheddar instead of feta. I made these changes just because that's what I had on hand - I'm sure it's delicious as written as well!

I think it's okay to review the recipe with changes that you've made as long as you explain what you did. I understand that some people are not cooks and have a hard time grasping the changes others have made, but I can't tell you how many times peoples comments have either saved a recipe for me or made it better. Sometimes you either don't have the time to complete the recipe as is, missing ingredients or don't like a ingredient. Just cause you don't have the time to make a complete recipe does not mean that it still won't come out good. Jar salsa may not be okay for you but I wouldn't not make this dish cause I don't have the ingredients to make a fresh salsa. Just my 2 cents! Have a wonderful day. Recipe was good, but I've had better.

you really shouldn't review the recipe unless you actually make the recipe...jarred salsa obviously changes the recipe.

Since we were ina hurry, we substituted salsa-in-a-jar. The whole thing was FAN-tastic. The only thing we would add is a little more heat from jalapenos.

I made this recipe Sunday morning and it was wonderful. my husband loved it!!!! I 've changed the recipe a little bit using a different salsa, beans and cheese but still was EXCELLENT. You should try it. It's very easy and very filling.

My sweetheart made this for me to breakfast and we both loved it. We like a chunky salsa, so he chopped the tomatoes instead of grating them. Other than the he followed the recipe direct. It gave the breakfast a great fresh taste and with all the those healthy foods, we felt ready to start our day. We both agreed it would make a good dinner too.
