It was very sweet because I used sweetened lime juice so I recommend fresh lime juice.

Simple and awesome. i make lemon italian ice with the bottle stuff. though it was 100% lemon juice. only issue i had was took longer to freeze. probably cause i use a bit smaller pan. so it was a bit thinker. but it still turned out really good.

My Family and I loved it..it was cool and refreshing! I did have to change it up a little using lemon juice instead of the lime because it was what I had at the time. Next time I think I will try 1/2 cup less water and adding 1 cup of the lemon/lime juice it was a little sweeter than regular Italian Ice. :

This recipe is simple to make and is so refreshing. I can't wait to try it again, but with lemon; or maybe I'll add mint leaves to the lime mixture. YUMMMMM!!!!!!

This recipe is fast, easy and tastes terrific. I added the lime zest to the mix for extra zing! I cooled the syrup mixture and put it in the refrigerator, instead of using the ice bath. Worked great!

Followed the recipe to a tee, and it came out way too sweet. Could easily do with half of the sugar.

I couldn't decide whether to make lime or lemon, so I just did a combo of both.. MMmmm! I also did a small batch with lemons and a little bit of strawberry syrup and it looked just like pink lemonade! This is an easy recipe that can be changed up so easily to create all kinds of fruity, delicious flavors! :0

Loved this! My kids have each made their own special flavor! One likes Lemon, one Lime, One Pomegranite & one Orange! I now have a freezer full of Italian Ice but it's great because they can do it themselves & it cost me next to nothing!

This was a simple and easy way to make something that I love. I substituted the lime juice with lemon juice. My daughter loved it! I will be making this again for my family.
