Hey Sunny, Love your Recipe!
My Husband is a CheeseCake FANATIC, he loves it,
and all though the topping isn't new, It IS new to some of the Younger people,
or maybe they never cooked and baked with their Grandmas and Moms,
anyway it is a great recipe,
Also, what Lillie seems not to understand, is that Even though these shows are learning techniques, they are also entertainment, so DO NOT listen to her about your stories and chatting, because that is alot of the reason we watch, If they don't like that then go buy a cook book and just learn not be entertained as well.
Keep up the great work hun, you are one of the reasons that my Husband calls me a FOOD NETWORK JUNKIE, LOL
thank you, Lisa

I have never made cheesecake before- and now that I know this recipe, I will definately make it again! It was so easy and delicious! I loved the sour cream, it was great, but next time I am going to try something different and make it with chocolate chips or drizzled carmel instead of the sour cream. Highly reccomended!

Very tasty recipe for cheesecake, restaurant quality. The surprise addition of sweetened vanilla sour cream on top was amazing. The whole family loved this!

the cheesecake is out of this word goooooooooodddddddddd. better than any i've ever tried, better than emeril, better than giada, better than tyler, etc. so 2 thumbs up for that. one thing though, i decided to stay true to the ingredients (in this case, lemon and added the lemon zest to the filling and something else to give it a little more zip still .......... know what it is? it's genius, simply genius, i tell you!!!!! instead of using cinnamon graham crackers for the crust, i used 2 cups of lemon flavored nilla wafers *yum*!!!!! makes all the difference. the lemon doesn't work well w/ the cinnamon, if you ask me. maybe i'm just weird that way *shrug*. at any rate, i've seen sour cream toppers before, although none this rich and thick. the 2 cups really make the difference. and no need for berries, i'm a cheesecake purist!!!!! *drool*

I have never received so many compliments on a cheesecake as I have with this recipe! Seeing as I am a baker by trade, and I gave it to other bakers to taste, I feel that is truly saying something. It is an easy recipe that only required me to purchase 3 ingredients that I don't normally keep on hand in those quantities (which is a big perk in this economic time, anything you can make that's delicious and affordable? count me in! I found that I enjoyed fresh berries with the cheesecake, minus the sugar bath the recipe calls for. The slight tartness of the berries compliments the sweetness of the cheesecake well. All of us who have made this have found that it is much better, texture-wise, after a night in the fridge, so if you plan on taking this to an event, prepare it the day before. And be prepared to direct your friends to this webpage for the recipe, as I've already given it out to everyone who has had a slice.

I made this for my mother who is visiting for a few days. She has a very heathly sweet tooth (what an oximoron!. I adapted it a little by using low fat ingredients. I used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and low fat sour cream. It was light and tasty. I didn't tell anyone about the low fat subsititutes...and know one is the wiser. I will definitely make this again, but I may use a different type of crust. I'm glad I caught this episode. BTW Sunny, my husband loves you!

I used this recipe today and my family LOVED it, I also made a raspberry sauce recipe from the Neely's to pair with the cheesecake... Divine!!!
OH! And no water-bath thingy! So that is why this recipe earned 5 STARS!!
