I had been meaning to make this for quite some time and finally did--it was SOOO good!! Excellent flavor combinations, will definitely be making this again. Just be sure you know how to pick the "perfect" avocados and mangos, because the textures are really a big part of what can make or break this dish. Wonderful and easy to make :-

This. Was. AMAZING. Seriously. Served it with veracruz-style tilapia and it was the perfect compliment. So easy, so perfect. What a wonderful summer salad.

This salad is delicious. I am sure I lucked out because both the avacado and the mango were at the perfect level of ripeness, but even if they had not been "exactly" perfect I think this would be wonderful anyway, although it would be better to be on the harder side of ripe rather than the softer side of ripe, as it would be too mushy. I also reduced the amount of red onion by half. And I used premium balsamic vinegar. All in all, this is a keeper.

I made this (half recipe for my lunch today as I happened to have a mango, avocado and lime at home. It is light, delicious, and so healthy!! Will definitely be making this again before the season is over.
