I saw the show and how she made this. I live in Canada and it was in the winter, but now that it is spring I will make this very soon. I love the idea that it is made with cucumbers, and is green. Makes me think healthy.

Made the recipe but doubled it to make 2 quarts. Added limes and 1 large jalapeno purctured with a fork to the simering surup and put it in the blender with the other items. Everyone like the drink and it is especially good with tequila added to give it a latin kick.

I tried this recipe at home with the help of my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She loved the color and didn't even realize she was drinking something that was good for her. The sugar makes it appealing to little ones! I might just get her daddy to eat his green veggies this way! HIghly recommend this one for any parent with little ones that need the extra servings of veggies! I also used organic ingredients!!! It was fabulous!!

The first time I made this it turned out horrible. I read some reviews, made a few adjustments and gave it another chance and it turned out amazing. I used only ? cup of sugar, I took out all the seeds, and I poked some holes in a habanero pepper and let it sit in the simple syrup (from another one of Sunny?s recipes. The final product was a very refreshing drink with a little bit of heat.

Wow. I made this today and found it easy to do, tasted excellent and cleanup was a breeze. I'd probably reduce the sugar and add a little lime/hot sauce to cut the sweetness and add some bite when I make it again. It would be easy to turn this into a cocktail by adding a bit of vodka or gin to a glass. To clean up, only needed to rinse everything out and dry.

Sounds great! I'll make it soon, but an idea for your leftover cucumber gratings are TRY IT IN A CAKE (or bread. Like carrot cake and zucchini cake, cucumber sounds like it would be good. The cucumber would basically
provide a nice moist filler, and since other writers say the drink is a little sweet, it seems that the cucumber with a little sugar should make a very good, moist cake!
