This peanut butter icing is a miracle! It is fluffy and so very yummy and yet it is SO simple. What's not to like? The cakes are moist and taste better than a piece of cake, maybe because each person has all the best parts of the cake in every serving. I could eat just the icing, but then I would miss out on the wonderful combination of flavors. A special treat!

OMG the frosting is good! I put it on cupcakes and brownies. This icing would be good on cardboard. You have to try it.

For Christmas Eve 2011 I made this receipe. I enjoyed it. Time baking was a little too much it seemed cake was somewhat dry. Maybe baking time 10 minutes less. Taste was good. Maybe adding or sprinkling some cinnamon would even taste a little more better. I loved the peanut butter spread. Yes I would bake this receipt again.,,,Thank you Sunny :

These were fantastic!! I know I shdn't make guinea pigs out of my family but I was trying to give something different for the holidays so I watched Sunny's episode. It looked yummy and easy. So I tried it one time and gave it as presents and I had great reviews. I didn't put the pb frosting because it was too sweet for my liking. Anyway, they loved the cakes the way it is. Thanks Sunny!

We thought the Espresso Cakes were absolutely fantastic. I made the mini loaves and gave to my neighbors for Christmas...they loved their special Christmas Gifts. Thank you so much Sunny.

I don't see how anyone could say this cake was dry, unless you over-baked it.....mine turned out very moist and delicious!!!! Plus, my kitchen smelled marvelous!!!! The peanut butter frosting was also delicious!!!! (Although I see someone said they used Nutella, which I may try next time! That sounds awesome! But trust me, (I have a part-time business making/decorating cakes, if you love chocolate, coffee, and peanut butter.......you will LOVE this!!!!!!

It was the first time in 30 years my husband didn't say "delicious" when he tasted something I baked. Instead he asked what it was suppose to be!

The only thing I changed was I used real espresso, instead of instant, which I've done before in other recipies. Nonetheless, the taste combination didn't appeal to anyone at my NY day party and I didn't find it that great either.

I love the rich flavor of Espresso in these wonderful loaves, and not being a fan of peanut butter (except as itself, I tried substituting with a buttercream frosting enhanced with Nutella... and it's a fabulous flavor combo! It was so good I gave a few of these away for a holiday gift. Reminds me of the wonderful gelati on the streets of Italy!

I loved the cake but does any one where you get espresso powder? I've looked at the supermarkets and coffee shops and nothing.
