This COFFEE cake is the best! Not only is it easy to make the flavor is fabulous. The frosting was a bit thick for me so I whipped in 8 0z. of softened cream cheese, that did the trick. Gave to all my neighbors for Chrismas boy was I the hit. Thanks again Sunny for another wonderful recipe

I saw Sunny cook this on an episode and I just had to try it. Delicious! When you think of coffee cake, you think of cake that goes with coffee. But like Sunny said, this cake truly tastes like a COFFEE cake. Very, very good!

All I can say is that I loved this cake! I made it in a Bundt form instead of the mini loaves. I also added mini chocolate chips, about 1/2 cup or so. And used instant coffee instead of espresso. Delicious! Even the batter was great, yes I liked my finger! And the frosting perfection!

Although an almost unexpected combination of flavors, this cake was really good. I couldn't find espresso at my grocery store so I used instant coffee instead, and the flavor came out just fine. The cake itself is very moist, and the frosting is delicious. I'd like to try different variations, maybe with chocolate chips or a dark chocolate frosting.
