this was my first time cooking oxtails, since i am from miami i can just buy a plate w/some rice at my local caribbean restaurant. I followed the recipe
exactly and it came out great! thanks Sunny!

I found this recipe lacking in flavor and there was too much browning (Gravy Master. i had to sweeten up the bitterness using allspice and the cooking time should definintely be doubled. The recipe is a nice base, but you definitely have to make it your own.

After enjoying this recipe while traveling, I have searched for the recipe. I was really excited when I saw it on Sunny's show and could not wait to try it. It was exactly as I remembered it. This will be on my table often - especially with fall and winter approaching.
