The best brussel sprouts recipe! Served these on Thanksgiving and got rave reviews. They do take a bit longer than stated time to cook through (used larger sprouts, but well worth the time & effort. Will be making again for Christmas dinner.

This recipe is so delicious. I had a several anti Brussels Sprouts guests during a dinner party last night but this recipe won them over big time! I actually cooked the onions in the bacon fat right away and added the pads of butter after I added the brussels sprouts bc i tend to burn the butter otherwise...I also added a splash of apple cider i had on hand! Delicious!

My guests loved them. I omitted the butter and used shallots. It was more technique and it was perfect.

... I forgot to cut the sprouts in HALF! Woops. Just realized that. They were great anyways with the onion and bacon, now I know that next time I need to cut them!

Very good alternative to just boiling. Gave them a better flavor. Will make again!

This was definately a very flavorful dish. I am going to add this to my weekly menu. Even my 12 and 7 year olds loved it. How many kids say they love brussel sprouts!! They want me to make more. A+ for this recipe.

So good for something so simple. It was a hit at my house. I did use Turkey Bacon to help make it a little healthier and it was still good.

This is one of the best veggie dishes I have tasted!!! I dont eat meat for medical purposes but I was able to make the bacon and use the drippings. I put some on my babes plate for dinner and he frowned, minutes later he was asking for more!!!!!!! This is a keeper, thank you Sunny you rock!!!!!!!
