Sunny, I have been meaning to take a moment and comment on your recipes as well as others.
We tried this a few months ago, it was the first time ever putting brussel Sprouts in my mouth and it was delicious. My husband and daughter loved it.
My husband love to cook and enjoyed all your recipes so far.
Great job keep them coming.

Amazing recipe! I'm ashamed to say I kept going back til I ate it all! The crisp bacon and sweet onions were just perfect with the sprouts. I took the advice of anothr rater and steamed the sprouts in the microwave for three minutes in a little water first. This will be a weekly treat on my table.

I Just made these for dinner, along side the apple cider chicken, which i actually tweaked a bit and paula deans garlic mashed potatoes with french bread. Boy, these brustle sprouts were so tasty, I cooked mine with maple flavored bacon, it added a great flavor i think ill always cook it that way. the only thing i would recommend after halving them is to steam them in the microwave for a 1-1/2 minutes before you throw them in the pan. My boyfriend hates brustle sprouts, he really didn't mind these, and would eat them again : All in all, in was a great side dish for a flavorful meal, better then buttered for sure and I love brustle sprouts! This recipes definately a KEEPER!

This was my first introduction to brussel sprouts...totally awesome, and now I make this recipe monthly. No need to wonder what to do with this vegetable. This is it!

I made these brussels sprouts tonight and they are a keeper. To speed up the cooking, I microwaved them in a little water for 3 minutes then cooked them in the bacon drippings. It speeds up the cooking. They were very tender. I also added 2 cloves of garlic with the bacon. Delicious.

This recipe was easy and very good. I did cook it a little longer than it stated but my kids liked them and they normally are not fond of brussel sprouts. Will definitely be making this again.

I tried to make this for Thanksgiving and found that they would not cook like the recipe says..I was very disappointed and glad that I had the sense to add a little water to them and stick them in the microwave to finish cooking them. NOW THAT WAS SUCCESSFUL. and they were ready on time to set on the table.

Just to comment on the people who thought it was horrible because it was undercooked. Boiling something is really dependent on many factors such as location and altitude and is it a rolling boil or a slight boil or how big are the sprouts...just boil them until they are fork tender. It could be 8 minutes it could be 15 minutes, just keep boiling until fork tender then they won't be underdone.
