The brussels sprouts were not good. They were undercooked, and we just did not like them at all. Instead of eating them, they went in the trash can.

I discovered this awhile ago and I keep making it for my family. I don't even need the recipe anymore! It's so easy and soooo good. I never cooked brussel sprouts before this and now I love them!

Sunny, I have always been a fan of this veggie, but you took this up another notch as Emeril would say. My father enjoyed them and so did myself. Keep it up and God bless you.

This is the best Brussel Sprout recipe on the planet!!! Do yourself a favor and make this easy and delicious treat..I was a non believer in this vegetable and now I have seen the light!!! P.S. I reduced a little red wine at the end for yet another layer of flavor...

This was a great recipe to introduce brussel sprouts to my kids and husband. I ended up taking out one tablespoon of bacon fat and still had about a tablespoon. I also reduced about 1/2 cup of sauvignon blanc. I think they took about 15 minutes and they were delicious.

Loved the recipe and it was easy; however, there's a difference in caramelizing and cooking. After 15 minutes, the sprouts were beautiful but hard as rocks. I added one cup of chicken stock (wine might be good too! and turned the heat down, cooked ten more minutes until the stock was gone and they were done. I used fresh Spring brussels sprouts and found the recipe terrific!

Wow!!! Sunny's recipe has converted my husband and my kids into brussels sprout lovers!!!
I grew up liking them. My mom always steamed them above water that was already seasoned with bacon drippings...I am from the South so everything was seasoned that way. But I have never even thought of pan roasting them with bacon...love it. They don't get mushy at all this way. Great flavor and @ $2.49 per pound...they are right up 'economical alley'!!!

I just finished making this dish, and it came out so good. I don't think there would be any left for dinner because I keep going to pick at it. There's probably half left. I'm already a cabbage lover and this just hit home for me. I will definitely make this again.
