A really nice, light, simple dish that was just right on a warm afternoon.

I can't say that I ever had Orzo until this recipe. I think its a great, light side dish. I've paired it with chicken and pork chops. Like other reviewers, I add more salt, pepper and parmesan. I think the onion gives it a nice crunch so I don't sautee them prior. Very easy and inexpensive recipe.

this was REALLY good. I served it warm but used shallots and garlic. I softened them first then used fresh basil from the garden instead of parsley. I don't usually care for lemon but was the perfect lil POP it needed.

It tasted okay. I served it warm. I added more salt. Next time though, I think I'll skip the lemon zest and juice, and I'll serve it cold with Italian dressing. I think that will taste better.

It was hit! Even my son the pickiest eater loved it! I added more salt, pepper, and cheese to the recipe.

I first tried out this recipe last summer and have since made it many times thereafter. I did a few things differently. I lightly sauteed the red onion and garlic and then mixed it with the orzo and more olive oil. I also added a lot more parmesan cheese than the orginal recipe. This dish is so tasty and fragrant with the lemon zest and parsley... This recipe taught me the difference that fresh herbs and ingredients are so much more flavorful and appealing to taste and smell than dried herbs! Thanks Sunny!!!!
