Im a 17 year old that loves to cook. I made this for dinner last night and there were little leftovers. I added portabello mushrooms with the onions (and sauteed them for about 15 minutes insteas of 5 and used bacon instead. The lemon really added something to the finished product, along with some extra Parmesan. My only regret is that I didn't make more.

I happened to be watching Sunny - (Love her! and this dish looked so tasty & EASY that I decided to make it for supper that very night! It was so delicious & EASY - did I mention it was EASY!! I also sauted some thinly sliced onions, almonds and asparagus that I had left over. It was so good! No leftovers unfortunately. But it is a definite keeper! Thanks Sunny - I love your show!!

This is a great recipe, I really like how fast it was too. Instead of the bacon I used a Hillshire Farm link, since it's already cooked I just browned it in the skillet. I also skipped the lemon and used butter. Next time I think I'll used a smaller pasta, like a bowtie. Highly recomend this for a quick weeknight meal.

I used bacon instead of pancetta, but otherwise this was perfect. So quick and easy. Thanks!

Its delish! The first time I made it I sub asparagus instead of peas and red peppers flakes YUM-O! But it did clump and I didn't know why until today. Last time I was lazy and bought the pre shredded parmasean cheese in those convient little packages BIG mistake... Thats why it clumped. I think theres some kind of coating on that cheese to make it not stick together. I made it today with parmasean I purchased from a block and ran it in my food processor followed the directions exactly and NO CLUMPING. I will definately make this again.

I love making this pasta and everyone who has enjoyed plate loves it too. It's easy and delicious. I usually modify it a bit by using some prosciutto instead of or with pancetta. Pancetta is a cheaper but even the good cuts have so much fat. I also add cream rather than Parmesan so that the pasta isn't so dry. I love making and eating this dish!

I made this recipe for my fiance and I. It came together very easily and had a simple, comforting yet elegant taste. It makes enough for a crowd to takes very little to fill you up. To the others who found this recipe dry, try adding a little more pasta water, seasoning, lemon juice or whatever until it tastes just right for you. I only gave the recipe four stars because my fiance only liked it....didn't love it but I can definitely see feeding it to our kids in the future. Thanks Sunny for a fantastic and quick recipe on the cheap!

Her show airs at 4:30pm in my area and I had no idea what to make for dinner that night until I saw her show that day. I had all of the ingredients except for panchetta, but did have bacon. It was really tasty and I had leftover for lunch the next day. This is a great recipe to make in a pinch with ingredients you have all the time in your fridge and pantry. Thank you Sunny!! It saved me a trip to the supermarket!!

but I'm not, and it's not. I really wanted to love it as much as I do most recipes on this site but it was terrible. Very dry, no flavor and my family and I could barely choke it down. Sad to say, but never again. Sorry Sunny. :(
