Looks like a quick and easy pasta dish --- and something different than spaghetti with red sauce. I don't have pancetta on hand, but have bacon and keilbasa, so i might consider using kielbasa (cubed. It sounds delicious and I know the family will love it! Thanks Sunny for the twist on pasta!

I'm not even an Italian food lover but this dish won me over.

I made this dish the other night for dinner and got great reviews! I substituted zucchini and spinach for the peas, since nobody in my family is a fan of peas. And I think the dish turned out very well, not to mention how exceptionally easy it was to make! And easy and delicious meals are always a plus in my book.

Only comment would be that the pancetta is VERY salty so you might not want to add any extra salt to this dish.

I could hardly wait to make this dish. It was very easy, quick and turned out quite good. However, I used about 1/4 cup of heavy cream and 2 tbsp of butter at the end before adding the pasta. Oh, yeah, a little more salt as well. I will make it again and again although, next time I think I will spinach and a different type pasta.

This was the first time I tried the pancetta but it won't be the last. We really liked the taste.

    Thanks, Sunny

Very flavorful and tasty, I keep going back for more! I added tons of salt to the boiling water to flavor the pasta, like displayed in the show. I will say to the first person that submitted a comment, the peas are fine, I actually used more, a 16 oz bag and it was fine. The only thing is instead of adding the pasta in the frying pan, I moved everything to the big pot I boiled the water in (minus the water, of course. So there was plenty of room to stir. Also used 1 lb box of Angel Hair Pasta instead of Fettuccine. And added way more lemon juice at the end, about 1/4 cup. Definately needed that extra zip! Great recipe, a crowd pleaser!

First of all, the pancetta at my deli was flat, not cubed like Sunny had. I used half a box of pasta and should have reduced the peas, because there were way too many. I realized I didn't have any parm cheese so that was missing. Anyhoo...it was difficult to mix together completely, the peas stayed in the bottom of the pan. Also, maybe I chopped the onions too big? Good looking recipie, something I will try again with some minor adjustments.

Sunny makes it look SO easy, and I'm sure it is, but I'm a horrible cook! Thanks Sunny :

Made this tonight - substituting bacon for the pancetta since it's what I had on hand. I also added a can of mushrooms since I love them. I only salted the pasta water since I figured the bacon would give off enough salt in the drippings. This recipe is a quick throw-together that was really good! It's got endless possibilities for add-ins!

I was weary about the combination but I thought I would give it a try since I had everything needed. I did use bacon instead, but it was really good! My hubby finished everything I made!

I recorded this over the weekend and just got home from work and decided to watch it. As she started, I thought I had everything to make this. So I pulled the recipe up online, gathered my ingrediants, paused the program as needed and made it right along with Sunny. It came together very quickly. I did substitute bacon for pancetta. I didn't use as much salt as she did. I will make this again. Good one Sunny.
