I used a yellow cake mix instead of the angel food cake. I read the other reviews and cut down the amount of heavy cream. Excellent dessert. I will make again.

In a word: DELICIOUS! I made this for a Memorial Day cookout, and it was the hit of the party...everyone was raving that it was the perfect summer dessert. When we were driving to the party, people in cars next to us could see the trifle on my lap and would actually say "Looks great!" The cream is fantastic and it's so easy to make. You can't help yourself from licking the scrapers and the bowl after finishing it! Thank you, Sunny!

everyone was so impressed with me! haha They said that the filling tasted like a lighter version of cheesecake! Yum yum! I let the angel food cake soak in the fridge for a little while, while I prepped other dishes.

It was absolutely delicious, not too sweet, just right. For some reason my whipped cream kept falling flat so I ended up using cool whip instead, and I only repeated the layering twice in a more shallow bowl, but the flavors were perfect together.

This was GREAT! It overexceeded my expectations. Can't stop eating it! I had a few problems, but it was still was great. I used all the syrup..so it made it too sweet, so I topped it with Cool whipped to take down the sweetness. I also added orange zest to the cream cheese. This will be my next get together dish! Thanks!
