delish and sooooo easy. I will make this again on July 4. I did substitute Cassis for almond extract (don't like almond flavor and used half the berries (that's what I had. Also used cold heavy cream becuase that is how I was taught to whip cream.

I have only one word DELCIOUS!!!!! I made this for Memorial Day and it was gone before I had a chance to even ask how everyone liked it. This will be my go to for the summer. Thank you Sunny Anderson!

So delicious! It's a very simple recipe, but it looks impressive and it's an indulgent way to eat simple berries. At our last gathering, more people at this than the chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake combined.

This was so good!! I would love to figure out a lower calorie version but it was worth it. I did use Splenda instead of sugar.

This trifle was excellent, and a big hit at a gathering! I used a purchased angel food cake (I was skeptical, but it was good. The recipe calls for both the heavy cream and the cream cheese to be at room temperature which goes against whipping the cream. This is the only problem I had, was getting a sturdy consistency. Next time I will beat them separately, and make sure that the COLD heavy cream is whipped in a cold container, and then fold them together. The combination of all the flavors is luscious, and it is beautiful!

This was great, even with less than great berries. Easy and looks like you fussed.

Love this Trifle. Huge hit at the BBQ I brought it to and a work party as well. So nice and fresh for summer, plus also looks beautiful. I used angel food cake mix from the box and let it cool. Also always use fresh strawberries and blueberries when I make it. AMAZING!

Amazing. Used box angel food cake mix cooked in 3 disposable loaf pans. Use fresh berries; frozen ones drip their colored juices in unappetizing streaks that mar the presentation. Using pound cake in this recipe would not be suitable. (Update: Made this a second time with fresh blueberries, not frozen, and it did not taste as good. Next time I will use the frozen berries. Ugly but tastier!
