This was amazing! I made it for 4th of July and followed the directions to a T. People were coming back for seconds. Will make this a tradition.

Fantastic! I used pound cake instead & left out the syrup. I also added vanilla to the cream cheese mixture. Turned out great! This is my new summer dessert.

This was outstanding. The only thing I did different was that I cut the strawberries in half and it looked very pretty. I shared this with a friend we were going to different parties and we both recieved excellent reviews and several friends asked us for the recipe.

I thought this was just okay. I have had better. I thought there needed to be twice as much cake or less cream cheese mix.Just seemed to be missing something??? Also beware if your berries aren't at their peak it can be a bit tart. Very easy! A&A Deppen

I made this last night for a church dinner. Someone gave me a trifle bowl and didn't know what to use it for until I googled around looking for recipes. This was one of the easier ones and didn't require a lot of time. I did use sara lee's pound cake after reading other people's reviews. I made it Saturday eve and it wasn't eaten until Sunday around noon. I'd say some of the juices from the berries made the cake part a little soggy so this should be made 2 hours before serving, not the night before, if you can avoid it. Otherwise, I had lots of compliments and I'll definitely use this recipe again! :
