I had to improvise due to the fact I didn't have some of the ingredients listed. I only had a 1/2 a cup of Pet milk, so I added 1/2 cup of water to make-up 1 cup of milk. I used Laura Scudder's peanut butter (nutty and added 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract. The consistency was perfect - not too thick, not too thin. I didn't have any blackberries, so I substituted blueberries, lemon juice and orange extract to make the syrup. In addition, I whipped up some whip cream for the topping. Awww..my family and I truly enjoyed it. The ingredient for the whip cream is:
    1c - heavy whipping cream
    3 tbs - powder sugar
1 tsp - vanilla extract and
1/4 tsp - cream of tartar (optional

First time making pancakes from scratch.... great batter recipe! Moist, fluffy, light. Left the peanut butter out of the batter because some didn't want it. The others spread the peanut butter on the hot pancakes. Excellent!

Had to reduce the blackberry syrup for a long time though... never thickened, but it had wonderful flavor, and the pancake soaked up the thin syrup. Delicious!

I made these pancakes for Mothers Day since my mother had to work in the evening and she loves Peanut Butter. These were great the peanut butter taste was not overwhelming, I was able to make the blackberry syrup the night before while I was cooking dinner. I will make these again.

These are truly remarkable pancakes. When I saw the rating for this recipe I decided it give it a try and I was really impressed. I followed the recipe to a T and had no problems at all. Very, very good. Must try for every pancake lover or peanut butter lover. They are moist, fluffy, and puffy. Wow! I didn't have blackberries, but I had strawberries so I made a strawberry syrup and it was delicious. Sunny has the balance just right between the pancakes and the syrup. The flavors are spot on. There is nothing missing from this recipe. Additionally, it is not too sweet or too nutty. It is simply perfect! A+++++

Pancakes were delicious. Syrup was divine! Lemon zest is a must. I used less sugar. Boiled a little longer. Consistency was similar to store bought fruit syrups.
Keep up the good work Sunny!

I just made these with a couple of variations. I added a little wheat germ for fiber. For my kids I added chocolate chips and, though I thought they were dry without syrup, they LOVED them. For me, I quartered up slices of banana before flipping, and used regular syrup. Yummy. I also think adding small blueberries or sliced strawberries before flipping would be excellent.

I followed the recipe exactly, it tasted floury and thick.
I added more peanut butter and a little less flour.
I also used real jelly, then it was yummy.
