I have made these two times now, for our special family breakfast on the weekends. The first time I was nervous, I had never made pancakes from scratch before... but after the first bite the entire family turned to me and smiled. Everyone tucked in to those like we had never tasted pancakes before! The second time I was met with cheers and a kiss from the hubby. I rarely have fresh ingredients, so for the syrup I used blackberry preserves and the same amount of sugar and water the recipe calls for... Two enthusiastic thumbs way up! I can report these are so easy that I was able to get them to the table bleary eyed, from only an hours sleep! Thank you, Sunny! Note: For those of you with only crunchy peanut butter in the pantry? I made them the first time with crunchy and it was equally as delicious as the second time when I used creamy.

I only made the syrup for some french toast so I don't know how the pancakes were, but the syrup was amazing!!! I used a combination of raspberries and blackberries, instead of just blackberries. UNBELIEVABLE!! The lemon zest was absolutely key. Had to cook it for a lot longer than 10 min after boiling to get it to thicken and strained it for awhile to get as much syrup as possible out. So easy and so good!!!

These pancakes were GREAT, the flavor was awesome. My son loves peanut butter and pancakes, so when he comes home to visit I will have to make these for him. The only thing I need to work on is getting my syrup thicker, I used frozen blackberries, because I did not have the fresh. I love nuts on my pancakes, so I think I will try this with cruncy peanut butter. Sunny I really enjoy your show, keep up the good work and showing us all these great recipes.

These pancakes were easy and yummy. I didn't make the syrup, I just melted some jelly and poured over the top. The pancakes need the syrup to bring out the peanut butter taste.

I love this! I used soy milk instead of cow's milk and added more than 2 extra Tbsp. It turned out great.

That's all I can really say - they weren't great - they weren't bad. The peanut butter tightened up the instant anything was added to it and made it difficult to incorporate anything of the other ingredients. They also cooked WAY faster than normal pancakes. I think I'll stick my traditional recipe.
