My husband is addicted to ice-cream and loves PBJs, so, when I saw Sunny create this sundae, I knew I had a winner for a new dessert surprise for him! First, taking Ross' advice, I prepared my ice cream and let it freeze for two days ---- didn't want that two hour damper on dessert! Secondly, Cathy suggested Texas Toast which was a brilliant idea. I tried to duplicate Sunny's instructions for the remainder of the recipe until the very end. I sprinkled some crushed peanuts on top w/ the croutons which added a slight salty taste that complemented all of the sweetness. OMG! It was absolutely wonderful, fun, whimsical, and, YUMMY! It has become one of our favorite ice-cream desserts. Next, I'm going to try Chuck's variation using chocolate chunk ice-cream and bananas with the peanut butter sauce and Texas Toast croutons. Whatever you do, don't change her sauce -- it's to die for! My husband says it's like a PBJ with a glass of milk!

saw this on tv and i had to try it. read the reviews and was slightly worried. i took the recommendation of buying strawberry ice cream instead of mixing jelly with vanilla...turned out great! it was super easy and VERY yummy! definitely have to get a bit of each flavor in each bite!

I saw Sunny make this on TV and it left my mouth watering. I made it at home and it was as good as I expected...even better. The sauce is die for and I used Texas Toast for the bread. This will be part of our dessert repetoire as a family but it is good enough to serve company. I took pictures and posted the recipe on my blog, here's the link to this beautiful sundae!

I watched this episode and thought this would be delicious! The croutons turned out pretty well but I didn't love the sauce. You can really just use strawberry ice cream and save yourself the time it takes to freeze. I didn't really like it overall. Probably wouldn't recommend it.

I tried my own variation of this dish. I used triple chuck chocolate ice cream with sliced bananas and pour the peanut butter sauce over the top. OGM - the best desert ever!!!!

This dessert was TERRIBLE. None of the textures went together, and the tastes were awkward. The only good thing about this dish was the peanut butter sauce, which I'll admit, was delicious...but everything else was definitely NOT worth it!
