I prepared this along with the other items from this show for my family on Valentines a few years ago, and they still ask for it every year.

I have made this several times and shared the recipe with many dinner guests. This is special and amazing. You can really stretch an expensive cut of meat. Cooking time does move fast so I do all the prep work then start cooking. End result makes me feel like a pro!

Absolutely delicious! This was my valentine's day dinner for my husband. I wouldn't change anything although I did add a pat of butter to "finish" the pan sauce. This will be my dinner party go to meal for a long time!

Oops forgot to add that the only way around the sauce being to salty is to use the prosciutto sparingly ( don't double it up just wrap it around, a little goes along way here !

I buy proscuitto in bulk because we love it so much! So it was fun to find this recipe. I did not change any of her recipe. It came out awsome!! I was afraid the filet would be over-cooked; I turned it every 1 to 1&1/2 minutes, no more than 10 minutes total. Really tender and delicious! The sause, which was also really good, was a little salty from the proscuitto drippings even though I did not add extra salt. Not sure how to get around that and not be able to take advantage of the delgaze process. Would make again but maybe drain some of the butter/oil after to avoid some salt level problem. The left-overs made an awsome sandwich!

A-MAY-ZING!! Definitely my go to steak dish. I was hesitant at first because when I make steak it is usually dry but this steak was moist and delicious. The first time I made it I did not have the proscuitto so I substituted it for bacon and it blew my mind. The next time I made it with proscuitto and it was just as great. Readers do not hesitate to try this. I love you Sunny! You are my go to chef for any recipe.

Being from a small town I substituted bacon for the prosciutto (couldn't find any at the local grocery. It worked just as well and tasted amazing. When I get to a large city I'm going to try this again with prosciutto! The mustard sauce was absolutely to die for.
