I tried the pear first and my family thought thet were great. I tried canned strawberries next (minus the cinnamonand they thought it was even better. I left off the cheese (not ready for that yet. I do not bake ANYTHING but had to try this and it was foolproof.
    Thanks Sunny.

I usually test recipes before I serve them to my guests. However, at an informal family gathering I decided to try my luck. What a great success. I glazed the pears with apple jelly and drizzled semi-sweet chocolate over the tarts. Everyone enjoyed them. Thanks for a truly quick and tasty dessert.

Easy and good. We made the quick pear tart for a party and it was a hit. We made some with the cheese and without the cheese and they were both great. Most people liked the ones with the cheese better. Thanks Sunny!

I consider myself one of the "cooking challenged" but I was able to pull this one off! It was so easy and it tasted fabulous. I will be making this again and again. And not having a big mess to clean up was great. We love this recipe!

Ok, I'll admit it...I was dubious about the canned pears...but this recipe looked simple and delicious and I was impressed with how fast Sunny put it together.

I didn't have any canned pears but I did have some apples slightly past their prime. I peeled and cut them into slices, sauteed with some olive oil (yes, honey, cinnamon and a pinch of kosher salt until the apples had almost carmelized.

I then laid out 2 apple slices facing each other on the puff pastry squares to create a little "valley' where I laid some goat cheese (just because it was all I had on hand.

The apples left behind a lovely syrup which I drizzled over the top. You could get really fancy and add some apply jelly to the syrup to make a glaze, like the bakeries do.

Wow, these were good. They seemed to bake up in the amount of time it took to get another cup of coffee. So good I made them again 2 days later for breakfast.

This time I tried some feta (just because I had it on hand and it was just as good.

You could also do as a fast but elegant dessert - omit the cheese but fill with some nuts and then top with real whipped cream.

And during the summer...if you had peaches...these would be fantastic.

    Thanks Sunny!

My mom said it tasted like it came right from the bakery! I could believe how easy it was. I can't wait to make it for my guy - he not a huge sweets eater, but it wasn't overly sweet. Thanks for the recipe Sunny. I will make it often!

This dessert is so easy to make and makes the whole house smell delicious! I didn't have to leave mine in the oven as long as it said- maybe it depends on the pastry used. I just used a Phillsbury one that worked well. My husband liked this as well but is never one to complain- he eats whatever I put in front of him.
