I made this for dinner last night, it tasted fantastic. Like a lot of others I couldn't find Manchego, but I had aged Irish Cheddar, and that worked just as well. My husband really liked it, this is a definite keeper!!

Mine came out greasy. No manchego at grocery store, so used 1/2 bag Monterey Jack and Colby cheese. Maybe the butter coating the pan? Don't know, I'm 0/2 when it comes to an gratin potatoes. Suggestions?

Delicious! Swiss and Gruyere cheese substitute also worked. Thank you Ms Sunny.

Sunny - great recipe!! Okay, I altered a bit by adding thinly sliced sweet onions and used cheese I had on hand. But the basic recipe was solid, so thank you! Loved the cayenne pepper. Added a nice layer of heat and flavor.

These potatoes came out great. For some reason my potatoes took longer than an hour to cook. Everyone enjoyed them, I used sage and rosemary. Will definitely make again! Also they taste even better the next day.

Loved this recipe. Would recommend a little more sage to taste it more in the potatoes but still great the way it is. Will definitely be making this again!

Amazing! My family loved it. I used rosemary instead of sage and it was delicious.

We made this for our Christmas dinner and my family loved it. I followed the recipe exactly and was able to find the cheese at my local supermarket. It was a welcome change from our typical holiday dishes.

Incredibly good! Made it without any panko and didn't miss it. Simple, easy and sooo delicious. Thanks, Sunny!
